Much have been said about this place when I read up from the bloggers comments, hence we decided to check it out ..Here's how the outside building looks like..Much different slightly from the usual restaurant build ups we seen, dont you think? With the awnings, lanterns hung up, and blue painted colour at the top part of the restaurant? Looks authentic and unique.
Erm..see these news papers cuttings and pictures on display from their glass window? I didnt bother to read it, but was just browsing through as it catches my attention. Must be a well known place that it has it's master piece of news which tells us about their fame and glory ? haha..could be. :P
Look!! Fishes swimming in the aquarium. :D Too bad all these poor lil creatures are victims to man slaughtering...Thinking about it, made me think twice about having it for dinner.
Oh my goshhh! I gasped in aw when I first saw these huge super gigantic crabs..where on earth could you get these big crabs here? I reckon that it must be imported. I think just their hairy legs alone bearing 8 inches long or more. Their body are tied up with the legs, which I assumed it's to prevent these crabs from jumping out from the aquarium. These poor creatures seems to struggle free from their prison and attempting to walk and scrumble their way up from the aquarium. hahaha.

Here comes the fish. It was somehow uniquely prepared with light kunyit sauce, blending with chopped onions and red chillies to give a combination of sweet and spicy taste. The fish meat comes in huge and generous portion with it's soft and tender meat definitely makes you eat non stop and wanting more. Freshness is their main specialty when it comes to preparation and skill while decorating the dish with parsley, and thinly sliced carrots on top. Costed RM 22.50.
This drunken pot of prawns was my bf's favourite dish during dinner. Haha. Being not a particular fan of prawns eater no matter how it is prepared, I gave in to this call since I had the fish and other dish to make up with. The soup was magnificent. Boiled with chinese wine, thinly sliced ginger, herbs like Lin Zhi ( Traditionally used to strengthen eyes) , chopped spring onions, it was really worth trying. There are 7 pisces of huge fresh prawns in this drunken pot , which out of two were not so fresh. I wanted to call up the owner or boss to complaint but my bf stopped me from doing it since it's not neccesary to create such a fuss and can be overlooked. Hmm...I gave in anyway since we weren't their regular customers and this is our very first visit, since, so just give them a pass for this. :P This costed RM 18.
So green to the eyes isnt it?? This vegetables was cooked with slight wine to taste and chopped garlics. Tasted natural and was actually impressed with the freshness. Usually if it is not, those leave colours are slightly darker to brown. Overcooked and kept too long in refrigerator that it loses it's colour. This dish seems simple but the skill in frying and preserving the freshness is not something which you must underestimate. :D This costed RM 8.
Total bill came up to rm 81 for two. Pretty expensive slightly from the usual restaurants I think. Amount came up with inclusive of chinese tea, towel, snacks, rice and 5% government tax. It was quite a suprise since I noticed this restaurant has only two branches, one here at Aman Suria and another in Singapore itself from their bill printed statement stating in GST dollars.haha. No wonder with such a preference to suit the Singaporeans tastebuds, perhaps that is why everything seems slightly above the average in pricings huh. :P Just an assumption of mine anyway. Well, I will visit here again, but not at immediate plans though. Will try out other dishes when there's opportunity. Feel free to hop in and try if you are so happen passing by that area. :)

This piece of dish was called Fried chicken in Honey Sauce. I wanted to give it a try since it appears to be something different from what we usually ordered when we visited the chinese restaurants. Perhaps I was blinded by the unique name that he tought it is slightly harder and too salty. To me, it wasnt an exceptionally spectacular dish after tasting since it is fried and perhaps was over fried till it seems a bit harder from the outer skin. Dipped in thick honey sauce to serve with sliced green pepper, chillie , onions and ginger. I guess the chicken tasted more of honey substance rather than the originality of the dish itself. However overall, it is okay. Small portion for a price of RM16 Huh...:P
