I cant recall how many times was it that I've been to this place, but have not written any reviews on it still....if you are looking for one really cheap and reasonable place to have steaks , this is the choice for you...:) It's situated opposite of IOI Mall, and within visible location..you definitely cant miss as the place is brightly litted up and they have this steam air vapourising from every corners of the place outside..not sure what's the exact term to describe it to you..just head there and you will find out! Environment wise, not bad..if you are sittin outside, they have these wooden benches and tables laid out and you will notice each table will have a tiny glass of candlelight litted with some kind of sweet burning oil scent just right in front of you. I assumed that the scent are meant to kill off the smoky air which comes from their grilling process while preparing the steaks....not wanting its customers to get choaked and suffocated with the smoke before they could even enjoy their dinner! haha..:P
Hmm..initially this grilled Bali Salmon appeared to be exeptionally over grilled ..by looking at the seemingly obvious criss cross black charcoaled lines on the surface..it looks more like "Ikan Bakar" to me now..Taste wise just okay but it's fresh. Corners are the best area for me..since it has the burnt smell from their grilled utensils and suprisingly it's rather oily - Oil should have came from the salmon fats I guess! :P Nasty! But I love salmon fish. It's always my favourite no matter what at all cost. I didnt touch one bit on the salad since I dont really fancy it. This costed RM 18.90.
As for this Bali's Grilled Chicken 1/4 set, its pretty good according to him. Well at least it's cooked just nice..the gravy is given seperately which is a good thing..at least you can judge how much you need to use it or not entirely..:) This costed RM 11.90.
This is the Mushroom cream soup with Garlic bread as Add Ons, only at RM 5. Yucks..I only tasted a bit to feedback on my my review and frankly, the soup is too thick and creamy..it's more like eating cheesy and creamy solids than drinking soup! :D and the creamy solids has this strange burnt smell...I bet the chefs could have heated up the soup too long until it has thicken up. Poor preparation skill I guess!
Well, overall bill came up to RM44 inclusive of 5% Tax and Government charges with of cos one glass of Ice Kacang and Iced coffee at RM 4.50. It could have been a more decent meal if only my grilled salmon fish is not overly grilled since after that, I went home with a sick tummy feeling, a sign of indigestion. Perhaps it's too oily or I may have eaten too fast since I was hungry! :P
