Tonight, me and family decided to head for Mizi Shabu Shabu for some Japanese food and it's also part of my dad's treat turn for us all. :P Initially my dad actually preffered Chinese restaurant, knowing him , his traditional roots. haha. But over much persuasion and instigation to my mom, he finally gave in to give this place a try. I was just over with a load of Japanese ordeal yesterday night, and really had a bad and bloated tummy the whole of morning till afternoon today, and I really do not want to stuff myself again! :P So taking in something light, non greasy, and going more vege is a wise decision after all. hehe..

Here's how the restaurant looks like from the outside..Impressive design isn't it? Cute lanterns?Upon approaching the entrance, there were obviously mini crowds started grouping around inside area near counter and also outside....they have these benches outside and also inside area as well for customers to sit and wait while having their turns to be called in"With a Ticket Pass". LOL. My dad made a funny joke out of this idea, saying it seems that WE are one of those sick patients waiting patiently for our turn to come like in the clinic.Business definitely seems promising here, what more with all the publicity from bloggers, that proven what we see, enough said.:D We took the one upstairs with closest view to window.Nice...haha.While waiting for almost 30 minutes, we were deciding and talking on what orders we should be calling and Im already feeling so hungry and tempted especially after eyeing those food laid inside the refrigerator as display. It's REAL by the way!! :D

And this is how the interior part upstairs area looks like..cosy and ideal for family outings and gatherings right!? In fact I noticed that most of the crowds consists of old and young a typical family outing , and we are one of them..Ah...Snap, snap, snap..there goes me,my usual habits and hobby, an obligation which I took up not that long ago. :P

Each of us will have our own mini stove pots to play with on the table. COOL right??So far, this is the first I've seen even though the ones we went yesterday was not. And in fact, it's really a brilliant idea since we dont need to juggle and fight over scooping up our foods to eat...u can just have it, eat it at any pace you wish, no fuss. Just sit, relax and enjoy!! hahaha. We had everything laid down properly including their special made chillie (i bet u are gonne love it, as it blends in a combination of sesame seeds, oil, fried shallots, chopped green chilli padi's and perhaps some of their secret recipe ingredients). Yummy! And with the readily hot steaming bubble of soup in the pot, just throw in whatever you need and let it cook for just 5 minutes most!Or depending how long you wish, it's up to you. :P Just a word of caution though..if you dont want to be caught soaking in sauna due to the heat and steam vapourised up to your face, just keep it low as much as possible. haha.

Then we tried our hands on our own individual mini cooking stove with few buttons on different functions, cute icons at every side table seatings. It's really hillarious at first, since we dont know HOW to operate it..We kept pressing with our fingers, but nothing comes out of it.It wouldnt lit up. With some fiddling, finally!! Hahaha. It makes us feel... so alien at first. So for those who are new to this technology they had when you ever visit here someday, I'm gonna just give some few important tips for guidance and to avoid you fromany embarassment later on just in case...it doesnt get in to you at first sight!! Haha.To turn on the power, please press on the right most corner button shown below and the COOK button as well. The rest in between, just play around setting the temperature level from lowto high as whenever you want. That's it. How SIMPLE isnt it? :P

So as for the orders, since there were 6 pairs of us, :D we called 3 Couple Sets together with some additonal side orders below. Yummy delicious.. In fact with just RM 25 per set, it's considered worth it since me and bf really had enough, and were totally satisfied with the amount or portion. In fact towards the end, we were struggling on the left over items, their "Glass Noodle" and "Huge pieces of Cabbage".hahaha. As you can see, they have sliced carrots, fish, Fu-Chuk, Japanese Taufu,Needle Mushrooms, Pork balls,Fish balls, some different types of balls wrapped in Vege,Quail Eggs and loads of vegetables in fact.

Side or additional orders called were their Pork slices 3 plates (RM 4 per plate), Fish Slices(RM 6 per plate),Fish Balls (RM 2.50 Per plate) and Meat Balls (RM 3 per plate).Yum yum..we were really impressed with their Pork slices in fact. The meat is so thinly sliced that when you dipped it for less than 20 seconds in hot boiling soup, it's ready to be eaten instantly! Don't soak in too long since it's gonna get harden once overcooked and there u go, wasted one precious piece! hahaha. Ive regretted that we did not try their chicken slices. Should just be as GOOD.
Total Bill amount came up to just RM 130.68 including Service & Govt Charges, Ice Water,One glass of Green Tea and Honew Dew Pineapple which is fairly reasonable in fact! I will definitely make many more rounds here for sure, and MUST have my pork slices without a miss. hahaha. You should go check it out if you have not so far. It's really one place worth visiting, with some fun discovery and peaceful environment.Healthy way of eating as well.:P
