Much have been said about this particular place which what makes me and family decided to head off to Bumbu Bali. Looking at the interior design which gives an authentic Balinese environment which feels very much like home, the cute miniature umbrella sticks with the statutory Balinese symbol posters at the walls, indeed given an extra credits for the owner of this restaurant for their effort. If you are searching for some peace and quiet environment amidst the buzzling city outside, and craving for some hot spicy food on an exeptionally wet rainy days, please do visit this place if you have not. :) Popular for it's individual set of dinner platter which comes in super huge serving it offers a variety of choices that will surely spice up your tongue.
This set was ordered by my sister's bf. It's fried version all together. I don't like it personally since It's rather too dry for me. But it tasted good base from his comments. Same chillie sauce servings given which is standard. The only difference which distinguish each of these servings are basically whether you decide to have chicken (grilled with sambal toppings as addtional or fried), else a combination of seafood platter consists of White Squids, dory fish, prawns and Otak Otak. This costed RM 20.50 and they have a funny name for it too.. "Siap Mengoreng". Hahaha
I regretted later on that I did not place my order for this seafood platter as It seems so large in serving and I'm afraid I would have trouble gorging down these stuffs and ended up passing it to my bf and he would have a hard time finishing up extrass which will pile up more calories to his tummy which has already currently having 2 pack of tyres. hahaha. :D They call this dish "Nasi Campur BumbuBali" at RM 28.50.
Overall, the meal was a pleasant one only if it could have been served in a smaller portion. Such a serving could only fit well for Mat Salleh or an Ogre. Hahaha. But males are a better lot in eating since the males made a statement that they are still okay with the quantity. Gosshh..:D Total amount came up to RM 180 inclusive of a glass of Lemon Soda (RM 6.90), Caramel Presso (RM 8.90) and 5% of GovernmentTax. Iced water is FREE of charge. I think in terms of price wise it is still reasonable very much like other standard restaurants. SO, to say, I will definitely make another visit here again some time later. :)
