Dinner at Puchong Utama - A second review next week with more details

Ok, ok..this is somehow rather silly of me not recalling the name of the restaurant cos it's like only been 3 times or so i've been there..just bear in mind, it's not those high class air conditioned restaurant which you are expecting it to be, since the place is only available with fans...I don't personally believe in going all out to posh high class restaurants or in hotels to get good food, cos I believe if you want to get real good food with value, these assumptions are wrong all together! ..and this is what my blog is mainly contributing for to those out there who believe the same way as I do.. :) I gonna do another review on this restaurant again next week with my family since I found out that their food was so reasonably cheap and good, most important of it all. The second review, I promise there will be pictures on more food and the place itself OK. :P

Talking abut their specialty, the best ever La-La which Ive so far tasted is right here! It's not those ordinary La-La you are talking about, since look at the picture above..it's those with rounded shape shells and probably a higher grade or different type but still within the La-La family..I dont know how are you gonna describe it in English terms..I only know it in the way people would recqonise the name "La-La". hahaha. :D Ive never like the way La-La is cooked in ginger soup or style like the above..Ive tried many other places, and ended up being my not so in favourite list...I always go for the Kam Heong La-La which is dry. But it has all changed since yesterday night..:D Thanks to my dear dear for bringing me here to write a good review on this. The soup base is fantastically good, with natural sweetness and a strong Smell of La-La ...even with just the soup to go with your rice, is indeed satisying enough! Could you imagine that?? I believe it's how the way it is prepared...the "skill" . The La-La meat was succulent and nice to chew on...at least no sand, rocks stuck in between and being too soft that there's hardly anything to chew on. Then we ordered their vege cooked with small anchovis ..just tasted nice..we dont want to call for anything which is too oily , so this was the best choice...Portion just nice for two person..since if it's too huge, there will be trouble..it's cooked perfectly since it tasted smooth.

erm..and this one above was their Sui Kau in spinach soup...actually you can find plenty of this especially in Ampang Yong Tau Fu outlets and suprisingly it tasted just as good as when you compare to any Yong Tau Fu places ..the way it's cooked and their soup taste. The sui kau is so much generous in fillings and it's mixed with prawns and fish paste..But I sensed some chicken or pork mince inside it..so that makes it something special or different from the usual Ampang Yong Tau Fu style..:D hehe... Of cos, nothing is complete without their Fried stuffs a little bit! Though I'm feeling guilty a bit for eating up so much of unhealthy foods recently without output..but hey, Im just gonna pamper myself with delicious food and lots of rest these 3 days before my night shift isn't it? So, it's still understandable for myself..haha. Generally, if you would to compare their fried Fu-CHuk, Taufu and stuffs, nevertheless you should just go and settle with places which solely do this..since they are definitely better..but this , doesnt taste too bad either..just that it's a bit more saltish. :P
I will definitely come back here for more..and I know their "Yok CHoy Kai" is famous ..Just call normal chinese dishes to go with rice instead of eating Yong Tau Fu and you surely wont regret...The total bill amount came up to RM 27 only which is so affordable and worth it! Next week will be another more review on this restaurant and details...stay tune! :D
