Decapticons ? - Another of his pet toy!

My bf has been so "In Love" with this model ever since he is a young boy and he just couldnt get off his mind to have this even if it is really those Ciplak brand whih costed only RM40! There are 5 seperate pisces inside where you need to build it . The quality is way too far off compared to the original Hasbro Transformers. But for originality , this model you can never get it anymore according to him.. But you can never trade in quality with price..that's really true actually.

The completely built transformer as you can see, is Nice to See, but once touched, considered dead! hahaha. Cos the small parts which combines the whole masterpiece has many weak areas. It's not balance. One light poke, it will fall into pisces...:D So, my bf mentioned, it's definitely gonna be for display solely. It's really completely different from those pure Hasbro models which i've bought for him...by the plastic quality and overall in one package ! Those really sucks like shit. haha. The funniest part was he gotta end up cutting edges of the plastic, burning it to straighten corners of small tiny parts just to make it fits in! it's like a reverse engineering for him instead! haha.. :D And this is a total product of China. Suprising isnt it? ;)

Tea Break at BTS, Dome Cafe

Phew ..it was really a tiring walk for me..since well, Ive not been doing exercising for years! We went over to Low Yatt Plaza to get his another favourite pet toy "Decapticons" but the "ciplak" brand since for Hasbro , it's practically obsolete for that particular model. haha. What to do..Can I say NO to my dear's conquest? hehe..:P Before that we actually stopped by over at Ampang Yong Tau Fu , really at Ampang...but I changed my mind to do a review since the place was really an ugly sight and unhygienic, especially the parking area behind the restaurant. The awful stench of Cat Shit and rubbish dump nearby really makes me feel like wanting to puke after the meal. The food was OK actually..a bit different , there's lots of fish paste in their "Sui Kaw" fried style. But personally I wouldnt bother going that far to eat without any reason unless if I'm passing by to do something. :)

Yum yum..coming back to Dome...in fact Dome has only few branches right in KL and Subang..it's strange that you hardly spot it unlike their competitors such as Coffee Bean and Starbucks. But I have the reason to believe that Dome prices range is definitely way too expensive compared to their competitors. A cup of fresh juice drink already costing more than RM 12 ..and it's more by a few dollars. I bet it's so much cheaper if you just buy some fresh fruits, squeeze it and add in sugar and mix it - it's just as nice for only cost price RM3 the most! hahaha. But Dome has more choices of food ranging from pancakes to pastries like muffins and their western set meals. We tried their pancakes since it's already near 6 pm and we wouldnt wanna stuff up our tummy before dinner later...:P Look at the pictures above. Their Pancakes.
It's not so filling unlike those you have at Paddington House Of Pancakes. The fillings are only some raspberries and black berries with a lil bit of ice creams spreaded on top, and honey. No cheese or meat stuffs. Not bad... something different. :D We ordered Guava Juice and Peach Tea.

Sneaky Cat Climb!

video

Haha..it's cat blog again for me! my adorable pet cat Moggie has always been the champ in our house..every loops and corners she has explored and recently with the dangerous and risky climbing and jump from a 4 feet stairs at our home! It's just a pity that we dont host Cat Ripley's Believe It Or Not ! hehe...she's always been so mischievious and the saying goes well "Curiosity Kills The Cat" huh...well, this video clip which I'm gonna proudly present is how she actually did her jumping skills from the stairs with initially the "Meowwwsss" of a distressed cat , planning and thinking hard to find a good standing position before she made her jump of glory ! haha. She's soooo cute , and I'm glad that my mom contributed to this special memorable video clip during the moment of her action! Look at her sharp claws clinching tight to get a good grip and with the extra longated body which stretch beyond her usual self before the jump! Fantastic isnt it?? :P

But then, after her second and subsequent jump then after, my mom is always worrying that she will fall one day without help. My mom is so attached to our pet cat especially and just simply love pampering her too much sometimes..:P Say it where, at any place even the cupboard , she has stamp her foot print on it..Our cat is always an entertainment to our family ...

P/s: Sorry if the video quality is not crispy clear, since it's actually recorded from phone..:P

High Tea Buffet for Dad and Dear at Cititel - Birthday Treats!

Sorry, been off schedule from updating my blog..cos been really busy and tired recently with work...sigh..I can't seem to be getting enough sleep no matter what..so what Im craving for each time when I'm back home is more sleep!!! Sunday was a one memorable event since it's also the very first time we had a birthday combination celebration for my dad and my dear. It's also such a coincidence that my dad's birthday date falls one day after his! haha. I gotta go buy lottery and pick these dates and find out if im going to strike a fortune..hehe. :P Cititel hotel buffet was one of the very affordable places you can think of..as it gives 50% discount to seniors ! mind goodness..it's unspeakable. haha. But it's true, no lie about it. That's probably why you will get to see more old people , grandmas, aunties and uncles and even some with white hair or balded heads ..im not suprise at all. :D Food taste is ok to me. What can you expect from a typical hotel lunch buffet isnt it and with such an unbeatable price right?? It's usually the usual stuffs from western to eastern cuisine and not to forget their dessert selections like cakes, pudding, ice creams...I only had one big round and mini ones which comes in later but mostly I nibbled a lot at their cakes, pastries. haha. Maybe Ive been saving my sweet toothbuds and keeping it away for a very long time since, so must fully utilise it! hehe. It has a cosy and quiet environment and just an ideal outing for families or even lovers who wanted some privacy or romantic moment together..:P Hmm..here's some of the snapshots to get some insight on the food and place!!! :D

* Base from the pictures below, now you know why I'm so crazy about cakes and pastries in there!

Toys,Toys Maniac!! Transformers collection for him

Hahaha..ever heard of the famous toy Transformers? It's such a famous figurine in toy stores and in movie scene ever since after the first appearance of Transformers showing in world wide screen cinemas. Ive always used to get him toys on his birthday every year and before that it's really no fuss at all..you drop in to Toys'Rus and you can notice all the transformers boxes with different models on display at their Transformers section. But last weekend, we went for a hunt in different places right from Mid Valley up to One Utama complex and finally last stop was at the Sungei Wang plaza. ...and thank goodness , that's the only shop left ! The rest were selling all those craps like Power Rangers, Star Wars, Gundam..and believe it or not even in Transformers section all these toys were seen lining up on display and heaps of it! I wonder why the business operators are still not noticing the lacking of appeal and interests in those toys and instead chuck it away but replace with more Transformers models. Isnt it? It's really plain stupidity to me. What's the point of having loads of Star Wars, Power Rangers when its obviously not selling leaving untouched? Countries like over in US for instance, you get all type of model range for Transformers and when the price is converted back to MYR it's suprisingly cheaper. This one below was the biggest Optimus Prime a later version. He got his fren to purposely buy it from US, flying a thousand miles back to MYS for him. In fact it's only less than RM 100 and it's a gigantic figure. Compared to the other 4 small figures I bought for him..no where beating near the size of this. hahaha..:(

As for my bf, one thing good is that I dont need to crack my head thinking what to get for him on birthday since he's forever contented and thrilled with having his transformers collection favourites every single year ..and he's never gonna get bored with it...haha...he's just like a little boy making lots of funny noice imitated from flying action or talking while playing with his toys - old time favourite. I used to laugh at him saying " oh my goodness, you are such a big big boy still want to play transformers meh"?? " Im like dont you think you will be feeling so bored of it that a birthday suprise is like a no suprise at all since Ill be accompanying him for his hunt every year!". :P He said, I want to collect it all and display in my cabinet next time. hehe and have my kids staring at it but no touching! :D

Transformer toys aint cheap at all in Malaysia. Small figurine models like RamJet, Bumble Bee, Rodimus Prime already costing more than few hundreds. That day he spotted one shop selling a fake transformer model which only costed RM 30 bucks and he wanted it so badly since the model is already obsolete when you are talking about real Transformers from Hasbro. But I said No way im gonna buy you this ..it' s just too cheapish and before you can lay your hands on transforming it, every little pisces and parts fall apart. hahaha. :D

The one Im posting up here is just the very beggining of his collection target...i think when he is 30 over years old, there are more than 10 of it lying in his room..haha..but it's somewhat an unique hobby ..it depends how you look at it..some may think its a waste of money but if its a hobby, and it makes you happy, why not?? dont you think? ;)

Dinner at Steak Out Restaurant at Bandar Puteri, Puchong

Ive never been into this steak house in Puchong before but since it's a special occasion where Im giving my dear a nice treat on his birthday, we decided to just hop in to one of these.....I dont personally love to steak out unless it's required..cos Im not a heavy meat person anyway..the previous encounter with Victoria Station already starved me to death , killing up to my throat with that giant plate of serving. hahaha. It really scares me of already. But well, since I made him choose, he wanted to try out here. :P When we first went in, it's like so extremely quiet and desserted as there were only one couple sitting right far end inside. ..not a good business sign isnt it? no music, nothing. Inside was dark and cosy too. It's not bad, the setting and environment, just that it's rather unusually quiet since other food outlets nearby Puchong were bustling with people. hehe.....There are upstairs section where it's basically for drinkers to have some beers to chill out and it's a smoking area. Downstairs is for dining out basically.

We had soup as starters first...suprisingly it tasted great...it is somehow unique the way it is prepared...I had their special soup of the day and he ordered Mushroom cream soup. In fact the one he had tasted far better than the usual Pizza Hut cream soup ..haha..it's rich in Mushroom smell and creamy enough..but not too thick ..just moderate. Mine tasted a bit like ox tail soup. But Im just guessing since god know what is it..it was not stated..and I wouldnt wanna know just in case what I presume is right! haha. Soup costed RM 6.50 and his was RM 5. We also ordered their french garlic toast...yummy... this tasted so good too. It was satisfactory..the bread was nicely toasted, at least the bread is not as hard as rock... it's crispy enough with fresh strong garlic chops spread on top. :) It's only RM 1.50. See below.

At first I was paranoid with too heavy meals and ended up starving again like at Victoria, so we just ordered one set with a combination of Squid, Chicken, Lamb and Fish in one plate at RM 28. Actually it suprises us since we assumed that is either the food taste is lousy else it's extremely expensive which is why the place is so desserted. But these two proof us wrong and it's neither both at all. haha. The sausage is so thick and fat ..seems like german sausages..it's not the normal kind of sausage which you see here definitely..tasted OK to me , eventhough Im not used to the taste initially...it's a bit like eating black pepper meat. :P The lamb I avoided totally since I dont take at all. It's nicely done according to him..No " stink smell" of raw lamb.. haha.

But seems that we were not getting enough of it from this plate...big eater dont we?? :P Im just curious to find out on their other fish plate set, so I ordered another plate of Fish..Too bad I cant recall the name of it since my bf thrash the piece of receipt after I footed out the bill. Sigh...but this was great too..the sauce is special and tasted odd ..Odd in the sense of the ingredients that were added in. The gravy has strong milk base and I suspect the chef use Milk as part of the recipe..and those greeny thingy , no idea what was it..haha. This costed RM 22.

Overall bill came to total amount of RM 88 inclusive of as usual Govt and Service charges. Of cos included the drinks we ordered, Lemonade and Ice Lemon Tea. Basically it's an ideal place for steak out if you are looking for some privacy during some of your hot date occasion or something....the food tasted good with a reasonable price for steak anyway. At least to me, I think it's way better off than Victoria Station. The waitress were funny too..cracking silly jokes...since we were concerned over the portion serving..and he commented that it was so small..as small as in picture...hahaha. that was crazy. Then another thing which is not so appealing to me was, they practically clear up every single thing on table right after you finished it...it was really fast!! I mean, they do ask us before clearing, but still I find it a little annoying since hey..can't you just leave it there till we finished up everything right??! Anyway, besides this, everything was great. Do visit this place in one of your review and check it out..:P

Restaurant Steak House - Steak Out
* Unfortunately I lost the address and couldnt recall..but not to worry..cos it's just right behind of Giant, near the CitiBank shop rows..You can never go wrong..just drive through the area there and Im sure you can spot it! :D

Sleepy day today after a free shower on the road

This afternoon were raining so heavily with thunder that I knew I will get stuck in the office..but no way im gonna stay back...I had enough of it for the day since 7 am morning!!! It's more like getting into the swing of things at my new work, learning process, cramping in all information as much as I could, feeling so little time at hand...but at least it's still tolerable..wait till my different shifts comes in...perhaps it will be a different story.

The parking lots really sucks..it has so limited space even for the outside area and the nearest lot, would need some walking distance...and worst part is after 10 am, the whole parking area "what that is left" will be totally wiped out !! The nearest worst parking area you may get would be at least 1 mile away !! :( OMG. That's gonna be bad news for me knowing that my nightmare will start in about one months time to come...HELP ME!!

I was soaking wet, having free shower on the road while scrambling my way to the car running. That's a painful lesson to pay for not bringing the umbrella. I was drenched all over in rain and feeling wet and cold all way back. The weather is so unpredictable these days..so you people out there, no matter hot, shine or rain , just grab and keep your umbrella safe with you and DONT be like me! hahaha.

I wasnt gonna blog on something else which I have in mind, since today Im plain lazy ..just dont feel like moving my fingers or body..must be the weather. ..catch up later! Cao~ :P

Dinner at Oriental Cravings, One Utama

Hehe..after a long walk since afternoon till night falls, we were so hungry and my toe were aching like hell due to the long hours of walk..from Mid Valley then to One Utama just to hunt for his favourite Transformer toys..so pathetic huh..ok..coming to his all time childhood favourite toys, there's some story to share but not now..let's talk about food OK...:D We dont really know where we were heading since it was already 9 plus at night..so we just happened to spot this restaurant and decided to give it a shot..here's a snapshot of the place..:) I've always try to make it point to share the insight view of the place, outside and if possible the menu..hehe..

There are a plentiful of choices in fact in their menu listings ranging from rice to noodles..but I wanted something light , so noodle comes again to my mind..he made up his pick pretty fast and seemed really convinced with choosing Rice Wine Chicken..haha. It's served in claypot ....smells really good ..but when he tasted the soup , OMG! First word of expression which came out was " Goodness..the wine is just too strong! Too much of it..overdosage. Damn..the chef must have over shot the measurement already"...it is such a waste that practically the whole claypot soup was left untouched..he only finished up the 4 large pisces of chicken meat and some egg slices with the rice and that's it. hahaha. It must have been really good if not because of this actually. Poor thing..:P Its priced at RM 15.90...of cos another main ingredient was the gingers. It is funny that he mentioned it's good for me or rather anyone who has problem with flatulence and need to get rid of it..cos it's considered a healthy food. True in fact..haha.

As for myself, I ordered and purposely choosed their Claypot Lou Shue Fan since I was curious to find out how can this place fare if compared to the famous Lou Shue Fan at SS2. Well, let me tell you how it is..It's really superb..I tought it's just as good in fact. The thick gravy which has a slight smell of charcoal, mixed in with egg mixture and Yuk Sui (Minced Pork) really give an excellent combination all together. At least I dont see raw yellow yolk on top just like those you see at SS2...which for a non egg lover like me, definitely Ill prefer this one..hehe..:P But at least this place has their own unique style of preparing just as good Lou Shue Fan other than the usual place at SS2. It's also a huge portion in fact..At RM 10.90. Well, definitely if price comparison comes in, you can never deny that SS2 won the price category of choice. haha.

We only had plain luke warm water since it's not so healthy of having soda, latte or any sweet stuffs for the day at least. .. :) Basically it's a place which you can drop by if you are always shopping around at One Utama complex. No harm trying it out. Total bill amount came up to RM 45.77 inclusive of Govt and Service charge. It's considered not too overly priced but not in the "very cheap and nice food listing category" though ..since for two person, it's already RM 45. Don't you think? But Im OK once in a while if ONLY food is good. We actually ordered their lady fingers served with chopped chillies, and slight vinegar with some "cencaluk" as gravy..it's quite special in away it was cooked..not bad since the lady fingers were very fresh and they just steam it. Too bad that I forgotten to take picture on it as I was busy eating..haha. Sorry.

Lunch at Restaurant Little Taiwan, Mid Valley Megamall

On Saturday, it's shopping time ultimately for me and him...with mainly one aim which is to hunt for his birthday present ..we reached Mid Valley about 2pm and suprisingly the crowd was still huge even with the Raya celebration holiday which I initially tought at this time around, most of us will take the opportunity to Balik Kampung dont they? :S This proven me wrong though..eery single food outlets on every corners were filled with people..basically all the hungry ghosts rushing to fill up their empty tummy crying out for food obviously..haha..we can't find a place to seat down as some restaurants were even having people queueing up waiting for their turn. Fantastic isnt it? So, finally we made our stop and spotted one table empty at Little Taiwan Restaurant. This was also the first time Im trying it too..hehe. :P The path outside were buzzling with passers by and so, it's kinda difficult to get a good snap view of the restaurant. Can you see the heads beneath the picture below? haha...

So we ordered drinks first of cos since we were so thirsty after the walking ..and he wanted to try out the ice cream dessert and compare the difference from the one at Ipoh which is famous for their Taiwan Mango Snow Ice dessert...he mentioned that there's one stall in Ipoh selling a variety of such dessert and it tasted really nice. Unfortunately, my bf gave a dissapointing look at his face..and mentioned no way near to the one at Ipoh..since the ice grinded was not fine and smooth enough. But other areas otherwise is OK. It's quite a small bowl only in fact. As for myself, I ordered Lemon Red Tea and it's so , so, so Sour!! haha. Mango Snow Ice Tea is priced at RM 5.90 and mine is at RM 4.90.

Again initially I didnt know what to order cos I noticed that basically all their noodles set has beef. Hmm..although Im allowed to take beef, I seldom or hardly have it..just not in my daily diet intake I guess..:P I wasnt in the mood to have rice either..and no no for soup noodles. Somehow or rather, I decided with one pick and it's their Spicy Hot Ramen. I was fooled with the picture again and again thinking that it's supposed to be dry! Arggh. It's a soup base noodle..how frustrating..haha. Anyway, the soup taste seems a bit weird..just so similar to those instant ramen noodles packing which you can buy in the supermarket. I believe they are using the same ingredient source for the soup. By the way it's hot and really spicy!!! Goshh..dont take it if you cant stand spicy stuffs..one word of caution. Noodle type is the egg flat noodle..also which you can source it from the supermarket..nothing really special about it actually. Only 2 slices of fish paste added inside. Basically plain for me. It's at RM 8.90.

My bf ordered something which looks similar to mine, the style it was cooked, only difference was his one is not spicy. And it comes with an additional fried salted chicken with curry leaves. Better than mine in fact! hehe..it's at RM 8.

As for side orders, we just called their fried dumplings to try out. Turns out not bad..I dont dip the vinegar sauce with sliced gingers cos it spoils the dumpling taste generally. hehe. Depends on individual preference anyway. There's only 5-6 pisces of dumplings per serving. Was rather dissapointed since it's a small portion. Im greedy pig nowadays. No wonder Im getting fatter these days..:D Just don't seem to get enough of everything at all. This is at RM 8 as well.

I dont know why this restaurant is named after Little Taiwan, is it because it's really serving purely original Taiwan food or what. But in my opinion, the food served was nothing special about it and I don't see a connection or link with it's Taiwan term given. haha. Taste wise falls under average. It'something like eating the instant noodles which you can buy at supermarket, somewhere enar to such taste. Perhaps I ordered wrong choice that day. Could have given the beef steamboat or beef set noodle a go in future and I'll write back with my review again. Total bill amount came up to RM39.82 inclusive of Govt and Service charges.

Dinner at Restaurant L & E (Known also by Chan Sau Lin) at Puchong

Well..friday night we went to this restaurant called L& E but then according to my bf, it is also known as Chan Sau Lin the famous fish head curry outlet which I guess this name might ring a bell to your. But I dont know if this place actually steal their name and just simply put it up to attract customers or if if is really true after all that this place is their brother or sisterly outlets , some sort like a franchise business? anyway, it's late , so we just dont feel like going anywhere further to have our dinner..In fact this was the "dont know how many times Ive went" which finally I decided to just write about it and gave a brief review on the food. Of cos from the outside view of the restaurant, it is nevertheless unimpressive and it's just a normal ordinary lower class restaurants..but hey people, sometimes good food must not neccesary be in hotels or high class dining outlets right? Looks can be deceptive sometimes..Thats what I learnt! :P Sorry however I forgotten to take pictures ffrom the front view..:( too bad. I'll put it up later when Im visiting the place again OK.

I was extremely hungry that night that I urged him to order 4 dishes despite the fact that it's only two of us eating! hahaha. Yeah I know..crazy me...big glutton eater. But what to do...I was craving for nice and decent food after a weeks suffering of fried mee or fried rice while working. First dish was their glazing and tender Pandan leaf chicken in claypot..There's definitely some skill I should give credits to the chef as it's super delicious..haha. The smell of pandan leaf with "Kunyit"put to simmer in claypot after frying or roasting first was really mouth watering. Skin is as crispy as just been roasted out while preserving the tenderness. You guys must try it as it is highly recommended! :D Only at RM 12.

Second dish was their Cheong Cheng Fei Chau Yue..in cantonese it is pronounced. In english, well not too sure how to put it in words though..hahaha..I exceptionally love this type of fish since the meat tends to be finer and softer. And not so Fatty! Some fishes really has these fat oils clogging especially in both sides near the tummy area...not my favourite. It's cooked in taucu gravy and finely chopped chillies giving a sweet and sour combination. Yummy ..really good! Just as nice and simply appetizing. It's only at RM 15.

Third call was their fried vege with "Siu Yuk". Funny right ? Why with Siu Yuk? This was in fact the first time I came across about it..I was giving some kind of look at him that time.. haha. I hate it. I told him, no way Im gonna eat it..spoils everything! Yuckkies. He said, wait till you feel you have missed out on something nice! hehehe..My bf is sometimes a gem as he really knew lotsa stuffs about food..those weirdo things which I initially find it strange! haha. Anyway, it turns out superb ..much more fragrance and it smells good! Rather than just plainly frying with garlics. Your can try it out someday..of cos dont consume too much of pork fats which coming from Siu Yuk in your food dietary since it is not so healthy. hehe. It's only at RM 10.

The fourth and also the last dish was their Taufu Claypot..wow..there's abundant of gravy for this dish..and Im telling you that the gravy was the best part . It' so yummy and words cant describe it all. Of cos what's inside are their Japanese round Tofu, Mushrooms, Carrots and I found small cubes of fried Pork fats in the gravy too. No wonder why it's so sweet smelling. haha. It's only RM 8.

Total bill amount came up to RM 51.40 inclusive of chinese herbal tea, rice and Govt tax, but not Service charge. With such a satisfying meal, it's totally worth it in my opinion. Just give this place a try if you happen to pass by. I won't go wrong. :P

Dinner at Hot Pot Genting, First World Hotel (Sunday , Oct 7)

This review was supposed to be up here last Sunday, sadly I'm pretty caught up with work , moving in to a totally different time shift and getting to sleep extra "early" at night..I hope after a while, when Im used to it, or rather immune to it, things will be better and Ill be back to normal , up again kicking..:P So, what is it about food review at Genting? Briefly, it's a bad one. haha..I didnt really wanna post it up here in public and letting the whole world know - it sounds bitchy to me..However, this blog of mine is not a hate /critic blog, it's just my very own space on web where Ill write whatever that I experience just for the fun of it - part of a part time hobby.

There are a lot of eateries outlets at Genting Theme Park or the area itself actually, it's a matter of choice ..what you choose. Never try, never know isnt it? So, for this round, it's a pretty bad choice..we could have settle for other restaurants and results can be dissapointing or could be better..but I think the restaurants up there, basically caters foreigners ..everything seems more expensive by double even Fast Food like MCDs, Coffee Bean etc which I tought should have been a standard pricing overall. But who cares anyway? these foreigners are rich probably , even US Dollars or Singapore dollars are bigger than RM. So, what the heck does RM 100 means to them? True? That probably explains why these food or shopping outlets are still around doing business..- there is business as Genting is always flooded with tourists all year in and out. Lucky thing huh..

Alright come back to this restaurant....basically if you want choices from ordering wide variety of dishes with rice or just plain individual call from noodles to baked rice, they have it. I told my mom maybe we should have been better off calling dishes rather than the baked rice. Damn it..I will not cut off this place from my list of visits to remember but definitely ordering something else as giving it a Second Chance. All of us ordered their set orders of baked rice in a variety of cooking. Me and bf added on with a soup but sharing it together...since he cant live without soup. hehe...Before going on, take a look at the place ..

Some of us ordered chicken wine baked rice..looks as displayed on their menu can really be tempting but never ever fall prey to it. Nice to see, but not nice to eat..heard of this chinese phrase after translation? haha..so should we be ordering something with ugly picture display but convince that it will be good?? anybody wanna try doing that? :P My bf ordered this. Chicken meat hardly any since all that you are seeing is just small pathetic chicken cubes. ..rice is really dry...the one thing which is special about the way it is prepared is each of this set rice, came with a wooden small table with holes at the bottom and also surface top which is then used to place the metal pot inside..but only use the metal pot to cook it before serving. The rice were sticking to the side metal pot upon finishing our meals in fact..and in fact hardened up!! Goshh. It's at an unbelievable price of RM 29.60 for such an impression. Could have enjoyed a more decent meal in town at such a price isnt it??

Mine was the Taiwan Black Chicken....I almost have tripple doubts about having this since from the picture, it is really black! Looks like frog meat to me..haha. Since Im always the victim who succumb to pictures gimmicks....but there wasnt any better option to choose and I'm rather a bad decision maker whenever it comes to food ordering..so if whoever is with me, will need to wait for ages before they can eat! So, I just simply give this a try..and suprisingly it is better than his...comparing the best from among the worst that is. :D It's not even chicken, for god sake..I wonder why they name it that..it should be Black Chicken Feet! No meat, but only chicken feet. So basically there isnt any meat for chicken feet right or not? I'm feeling so miserable at that time..hahaha. Trust me, everyone of us were cursing all the way through while eating till when we left. Same price at RM 26.90. We ordered Carrot with spare ribs soup ..The only best thing we truly enjoyed was the soup..It tasted really delicious just like home made soup...at only RM 9.80.

My dad ordered Claypot Mongolia..nice name but as usual, bad taste..haha..nothing better than what we had ordered above..and his one is at RM 28.80

My mom ordered Porridge for Fish and seafood..this seems like a better deal...feedback was it's not bad..but nothing special about the porridge since we can have it the same or even better in town...it's a big portion nevertheless. We never finish up at all..haha..and is at RM 10.80..the fish ingredients are scarce and little...only some floating beneath..really not a good one, but one consolation was it came in huge portion.

My aunt was the wise person there at that time during dinner cos hers was the winner of choice that night!! hahaha. Yummy ...the wat tan hor is prepared well enough..with lots of gravy and ingredients and the kuay teow texture is smooth.. Huge huge portion as well! My aunt ended up donating her meal portion to my bf and I get to taste some of it as well..hehe.. at least with a price of RM 10.80 sounds sensible enough right?? :P

Anyway total bill amount came up to RM 182.85 inclusive of Government and Tax charges and the Oolong Tea. It's a hell of an experience but other than the dinner, everything was really fun and enjoyable. :)

Genting Weekend Trip with Family (Sunday, Oct 7)

It's truly a relaxing and enjoyable trip last weekend in one big happy family..The weather was just as cold and freezin up there and as usual packed with people and foreigners ..I noticed lots of visitors from China..carrying large plastic bags , wearing stockings covered up and speaking among themselves in heavy Mandarin slang..Pretty obvious to me. Luckily it's not a long queue while waiting for our 94th Number turn to come for checking in since they have 10 express counters . Phew..thank goodness. :P

So, of cos afternoon part was just lazing around in our hotel room beds, with TV switched on, wriggling foot while chatting on bed. My bf was such a lazy bump as he quickly chose his bed right away when we checked in..nap time for him! hahaha..ah well, cant blame him as I could understand the torture and energy consumption while driving up hill! It's not an easy task to do. Right at 4 Pm, we went window shopping, walk walk, and just chilling out with the cool air breeze..it was actually raining there in fact. Double freeze blow. :P. But eventually, I got my toe injured or sprained unnoticingly after coming back. :( Somehow I could have twisted the nerves or something..and I gotta walk like a limping cat all the way from Sat night till Monday. Gosh....

Then when night falls, we were all supposed to transform ourselves into "Tou Gwai" - gambling Ghosts and promised to pay the casino a late visit ..we did though, but we were apparently searching for the right counters to place our bet - Just a dummy Gambling Ghost ..looking around not sure of what we are doing there! hahaha. There are plenty of Jackpot machine available, but most of the time we were more comfortable being the on lookers, or Observers standing right behind in action. :D. However, sad to say, it's almost time up for our first movie countdown at Genting cinema watching "Resident Evil - Extinction"! Yippie...haha. I didnt get to experience how it feels like previously at Genting..so there you go..explaining why we picked an odd itenary for Genting plan. Just me and him. :P But the rest continued their gambling journey till 2 am almost and suprisingly my youngest sister was in extreme luck for winning that night! She won rm 100 over bucks from pulling the Jackpot machine in less than half an hour. OMG! Unbelievable isnt it?? hahaha. I wish I had her luck.

We had our dinner at the Genting theme park, one of the restaurant among so many. Im gonna only do the review in another post following this. But right now, here's just some of the snap shots we had - a truly memorable one for me definitely. :)
